Present State of Research Regarding University Choice and Attractiveness of the Study Area

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to present the present state, trends and focus of research regarding the factors that influence the decision making process in choosing a university in which a potential student will study. The study has been accomplished using the methodology of bibliographic study and qualitative research, using various secondary sources. The study focuses on the analysis of the present state of research concentrated on Germany's area and constitutes the basis of a comparative management research Romania-Germany.
